Am I eligible to join Global Sisters?
Yes if:
  • you identify as a woman
  • you’re living in Australia or part of an International partner program
  • you’re experiencing challenges finding a job that meets your needs AND
  • you are exploring business as an alternative to meet your needs OR you need more support to help your early-stage business be financially viable.
You may also be from one of Global Sisters partner organisations.
Does the program have a cost?

No. All Global Sisters business education and coaching programs are completely FREE of charge, subsidised by generous philanthropic, Government and corporate supporters. There is no catch, ever.

Global Sisters Marketplace has no set up or monthly fees, there is 5% commission on sales and 2.4% payment gateway commission +30c per transaction. 

How much support can I access?

Global Sisters recognises that businesses don’t happen overnight, great businesses can take time to start and gain momentum. In recognition of this, Global Sisters offers 3 years of free business support but you can stay part of the community and access content and events forever.

What can I expect Global Sisters to do for me?

Global Sisters can support you with access to quality business education, group and individual coaching support, access to tailored micro-finance and insurance products, access to an online e-commerce platform and can connect you into a community of like-minded business women.

What won’t Global Sisters do for me?

Global Sisters can open doors but you have to walk through them. You have to take the steps, put the systems in place, make the decisions and pay the bills, after all you are the business founder and owner. 

While Global Sisters tries to profile businesses in our community, your business may or may not be profiled by Global Sisters in marketing materials. 

How can you provide so much support at no cost?

Global Sisters is a non-profit organisation supported by organisations and individuals who understand that incredible things happen when you back women. Global Sisters operates a lean and efficient team, using technology to enable and amplify our support.

Survey data is important to us to demonstrate the impact of our support to our funders.

Thank you to our generous donors and supporters we are able to provide high quality business support at no cost to our Sisters (emerging business women).

How do I get started?

Sign up to our Sister Portal, the online gateway to all of our programs and support. Browse the Sister Portal for business content, program information, program registrations and the upcoming calendar. Keep an eye out in your email inbox and join our Facebook Community to hear about upcoming events and programs.

What program should I join?
What if I don't have a business idea?

You’re in the right place. Global Sisters supports women with no ideas, too many ideas or an early stage hunch as well as women with existing businesses. If you are looking to decide on a business idea, we suggest you complete our My Big Idea workshop – sign up here.

What if I have a business, but need further support?

Global Sisters offers a range of programs and supports appropriate for existing businesses which are not yet consistently profitable. Sign up to the Sister Portal to access coaching programs, business education, accessible finance products and a community of like-minded business women. We suggest exploring the Coaching Industry Circles as a place to start. Sign up here to sell through the Global Sisters Marketplace.

What is the Global Sisters Marketplace?
I’ve forgotten my password for the Sister Portal, what should I do?

Navigate to the Sister Portal sign in page and click on Forgot Password, you will be sent an email to reset your password. If you’re still having trouble, contact concierge@globalsisters.org for technical support.

I’ve changed my email or business name, what should I do?

Please email concierge@globalsisters.org with your updated email or business name. 

My Sister Portal isn’t loading/working properly?

You may need to clear your browser cache, follow the instructions below and if you are still experiencing issues, please contact concierge@globalsisters.org for technical support.

Instructions for PC users:
1. On your computer, open Chrome.
2. At the top right, click More .
3. Click More tools. Clear browsing data.
4. At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
5. Next to “Cookies and other site data” and “Cached images and files,” check the boxes.
6. Click Clear data.

 

Instructions for Mac users:
1. From the home screen, Select Settings > Safari.
2. At the bottom of Safari’s settings screen, Select Clear cookies and data or Clear Cookies and Clear Cache.
3. Confirm when prompted.

How do I know what programs are coming up?

Join the Global Sisters Community on Facebook and scroll down to sign up to our emails, we will keep you informed of upcoming programs and events every month.

How do I connect with the Global Sisters community of business women?

Join our Global Sisters Facebook Community, you can connect with women all over the country, ask questions, give and get support, find out about upcoming programs and events and back each other’s brilliance.

If you want to meet up with women in your local community, start or join a Sister Connect group.
