We’re a not-for-profit organisation who have been helping make business possible for Australian women facing barriers to mainstream employment since 2016. Thousands of Australian women turn to our support each year to fuel their business dreams.
Is this for ME?
We exist to unlock the potential in EVERY woman to run their own businesses, and own their economic future. We offer every woman who needs it, the tools, support and confidence needed to start and run a business. We offer tailored onboarding to ensure you are accessing the right help you need in your own business journey.
All our programs can be self-paced and completed in your own time, in a way that works for you.
We also offer additional support for solo mums who secured entry into our limited program tailor-made for solo mums on the Parenting Payment Scheme (PPS). This is only limited due to the extra support offered by our incredible partnerships.
What are the eligibility requirements for the Solo Mums in Business program?
We are excited to offer this tailor-made program for Solo Mums in Business. To participate, you’ll need to be receiving the Parenting Payment Single (PPS) from the Government. This requirement allows us to have a greater impact by assisting women in finding alternatives to welfare dependency through the creation of their own micro business.Spaces in this program are limited – just to ensure we can provide additional value-add resources, made possible by our exceptional partners. To secure your enrolment, there will be additional onboarding and data sharing requirements. Global Sisters will provide all the necessary details in the onboarding forms, allowing you to make an informed decision and opt-in with confidence. While this particular program is specifically designed for women receiving the Parenting Payment Single (PPS) , we believe that every woman who needs assistance should have access to the tools, support, and confidence required to start and run a business. What if I don’t secure the limited spots available?
If you don’t secure one of the limited spots available, don’t worry! You can still become part of our community and gain access to all the essential business education, tools, and support necessary to start up or grow your business. While the limited spots exist, they are primarily designed to provide Sisters with the opportunity to unlock additional resources as they progress through their business journey. We are grateful to our generous partners who have made these resources possible. So, regardless of securing a spot, we are here to empower and assist you every step of the way.
Is this online or face to face? What do I need to get started?
We’re completely online, and our extensive network of support is all digitally based too. All you need is a smartphone or laptop with internet access.
(PS – there are often opportunities to meet face to face too!)
